Mr Lorenzi performed a laparoscopic cholecystectomy with intra-operative cholangiogram on me at Springfield hospital on 3rd October. My recovery was very good. I have not had any bad post operative results, and ,so far, no more horrible symptoms regarding gall stones. Thank you Mr Lorenzi Margaret Lang

Bruno Lorenzi. has been brilliant in all my dealings with him, from the initial consultation to the follow up after surgery. He is very easy to talk to, he explains procedures so that one has no doubt as to what is going to happen, he answered any questions that I had fully and completely and I feel that his work as a surgeon is exemplary-my non scars are available for inspection!! There are really no words that are good enough to describe how good Bruno Lorenzi has been in all my dealings with him. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. There is nothing that he could improve on.

Mr Lorenzi carried out my oesophagectomy in May 2018. I felt safe from the moment I met him. Straight talking but compassionate, professional but friendly, his expertise is leading in the field. I know Bruno and his team are the reason I am still here and I thank them every day.

I had to have an oesophagectomy due to cancer on 30th April 2019 and Mr Lorenzi was my surgeon, from my very first appointment I had complete faith in him, he’s a very kind and compassionate person as are all of his team, he gave me information in a way that was thorough but at the same time not overwhelming. My surgery and after care have been amazing and all I can say is if you are lucky enough to have him and his team looking after you then you are definitely very lucky and in safe hands

A belated thankyou for the fantastic care Mr Lorenzi provided for my husband throughout 2016. What should have been a routine private gall bladder removal with another surgeon, became more complicated before surgery was able to take place when gall stones blocked my husband's pancreatic duct and he developed acute necrotizing pancreatitis. Carl was transferrred to Mr Lorenzi's care in Broomfield, and from there he also arranged for day case treatment for the resulting damage to Carl's pancreas at the Homerton hospital with Dr Shidrawi. Mr Lorenzi looked after Carl several times during 2016 when infections related to the pancreatitis resulted in emergency admissions to Broomfield. When he was well enough, Mr Lorenzi was eventually able to operate to remove Carl's gall bladder. He warned us that the operation might not be starightforward, but he did a brilliant job and Carl recovered well. It was a very worrying time, but we were never in any doubt that we were very fortunate to have a consultant who clearly cares and goes the extra mile for his patients.
